As mentioned earlier, 2016 BMW X3 will appear to be slightly different after the updates. Its front fascia will be altered slightly as well as its rear bumper. New high tech equipments will be equipped and they include air conditioning, satellite radio, heated seats, leather seats, head up exhibit, voice activated controls and navigation system among others. This new model will be equipped with the latest technological features which include iDrive display, dual zone climate controls, stability and traction controls, lane departure warning system, full length side curtain airbags, collision mitigation system, blind spot detection system, front seat side airbags and new connected drive support system among others.Just like the few updates in its design and features, this new model will come with some new units under its hood. The current model is offered with only one petrol engine which is a 3.0 liter V6. For this new model, rumors indicate that it will come with two diesel engines. The first engine is likely to be the 2.0 liter four cylinder unit which produces 240 horsepower. The second expected engine is a 3.0 liter which generates 300 horsepower. The two engines will be mated with an eight speed automatic transmission. Moreover, a hybrid engine option is also expected in the 2016 BMW X3. This engine will most likely use a 2.0 liter petrol engine which will be combined with an electric motor. This hybrid model will can generate about 300 horsepower.
