2015 Mini Clubman Release - Mini Cars Review

2015 Mini Clubman Release, The 2015 Mini Clubman Concept has been shown for the first time at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. this version has a full four doors, rather than an unusual three-door arrangement – and it’s topped off by the split-rear doors, as per the outgong Clubman. The new model is 26cm longer, 17cm wider and slightly taller than before, making the Clubman larger than the Countryman SUV. While it’s being pitched as a concept, the new Clubman does have some flourishes that are unlikely to feature in the finished product such as 19-inch alloys. It might be touted as a concept, but it looks very much ready for production, with styling similar to the upcoming hatchback. You can expect to see the next Clubman in 2015. The Clubman Concept, the competition ranges from the Fiat 500L, to the Volkswagen Golf and, at least in Europe, the new Audi A3 Sportback and Mercedes A-Class hatchback.2015 Mini Clubman All that stretching pays off in increased rear legroom and, as you’ve certainly noticed, a set of four normal-sized doors. The current Mini Clubman makes due with a 3-door layout, which includes a small rear-hinged door on the right-hand side of the car. Instead of the single rear-hinged suicide door of the previous Clubman, the concept has two forward-hinged doors, making it a much more practical proposition. Not everything is new though, there are still two single, barn-style doors giving access to the boot, which is around 100 litres bigger than before. This could be the first Mini with enough space for five passengers. Inside 2015 Mini Clubman, driver is presented with a sophisticated electronic dash that apparently showcases the design of future models. Special attention was also paid to the cabin, which features an entirely touch-screen layout on the dashboard and center console. But again there is a nod to the past – the centrepiece of the dash is the traditional large round dial. The New Clubman 2015 is expected to be offered with the same engines as the Mk3 Mini hatch. That means a choice of three-cylinder 1.5 and four-cylinder 2.0-litre petrol and diesel units. A six speed manual transmission will be offered as standard, with a six-speed auto an optional extra. With new three- and four-cylinder turbocharged engines.
