Mercedes Vision Tokyo, The automaker debuted a new concept dubbed Mercedes Vision Tokyo, so named because it’s being debuted at the Tokyo Motor Show. The self-driving car, size of a minivan is built as a digital companion to the youths who crave to stay connected and sharing on social media rather than drive.Mercedes Vision TokyoThe Mercedes Vision Tokyo concept vehicle measures 189.1 inches long, 82.7 inches wide and 63.0 inches tall. The concept will feature a large gullwing door on the left.The exterior features monochrome Alubeam paintwork. The side windows are also screen-printed in the same color as the body to offer privacy inside. It also features blue lines and surfaces which provide color highlight and also reflect its electric drive system. The traditional windscreen is replaced with a continuous stretch of glass panel which resembles a glazed cockpit of a powerboat.The headlights are placed at an angle on either side and the traditional grille is replaced by a lighting display which displays various functions such as a sound pattern of the music playing inside. The door will swing to open in a move that makes Tesla’s Model X’S falcon doors look conventional.  The concept rides on large 26-inch wheels. At the rear, the concept features an oval window surrounded by a ring of red LED cubes which is used as an indicator display.
