2017 GMC Acadia Release, Denali, The engine that powers up the 2017 GMC Acadia will be mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. Since GM plans to make a number of changes to its new Arcadia it will not be able to release the vehicle before 2016. When we got a chance to see the Arcadia it was heavily camouflaged and so it was difficult to say exactly what kind of styling modifications have been made to the vehicle. However, we did notice squared fenders and we also got a glimpse of an unchanged GM logo. The grille seems to have been placed a bit lower than is the case with the existing model. The new body style helps to transform this SUV from being a truck-like vehicle into one that is very modern as well as handsome. The design of the exteriors helps to improve the aerodynamic qualities of the Arcadia, which has a changed front grille that is not only smaller but also a lot bolder than before. Besides these beautifying modifications, the Arcadia also gets a few design details, which are borrowed from the Denali, trim. Thus, don’t be surprised to see plenty of chrome on the Arcadia’s exteriors. Even the base model gets a lot of technologically advanced features like OnStar system and an excellent cruise control system. As mentioned, there is more to the Arcadia than the beautifying modifications that help to beautify the vehicle. This new offering from GM will have underpinnings that are different from earlier models. It is likely that the Arcadia will ride on the C1XX platform. The architecture of the vehicle incorporates lightweight materials, which will not only reduce the body weight of the vehicle, but it will also ensure improved fuel economy. A 3.6-liter V6 engine will be one of the engine options available with the new Arcadia. A hybrid engine will be the other option available to buyers. Each of these engines will be coupled to a new 9-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is the standard option while AWD is available to those who are willing to pay extra.
