2017 Ford Fusion Spy s, Overall, Fusion offers a choice between four engine options; three of them are for conventional lineup. Base one is 2.5L 4-cylinder with 175 hp and 175 lb-ft of torque, found exclusively in entry-level S models. Top Titanium grade is mated exclusively to 2.0L EcoBoost 4-cylinder engines making 240 hp and 231 lb-ft of torque which can be front or all-wheel driven. Mid-range SE grade gets to choose between all three of available engines, and third one is 1.5L EcoBoost 4-cylinder which puts up 181 hp and 185 lb-ft of torque. All of them get 6-speed automatic transmission with the difference that Titanium models benefit from included paddle shifters. There’s also a hybrid lineup which consists of base and plug-in models. Both get the same 2.0L Atkinson Cycle 4-cylinder engine with 141 hp and 129 lb-ft of torque, 88 kW electric motor, front-wheel drive and CVT gearbox. However, plug-ins benefit from 7.6 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, while regular hybrids will have to be content with 1.4 kWh unit.2017 Ford Fusion doesn’t look at all different than its predecessors. After all, it has been getting praises for its design all these years, and we just can’t see how it could get any better. Aston Martin grille and laid-back headlamps upon curved hood are what makes its frontal fascia, while both its midsection and behind continue in similar manner. Rear end, for that matter, gets nicely shaped overhang, large tail-lights and pronounced bumper.
