2017 Audi Q2 Redesign Changes, The 2017 Audi Q2 is the smallest SUV model in the Audi Q family line. This is after the release of the previous Q7, Q5, and Q3 versions that hit the auto market pretty well. The German auto design featured in this small SUV renders it a premium feel and enticing appearance. Audi had initially named this model as Q1 but recently made it vivid by renaming it as Q2. It is rumored that Q1 will be much smaller than the current Q2. Similar to Golf, the 2017 Audi Q2 will ride on a uniform MQB platform. These are our latest spy shots of a prototype for the upcoming Audi Q2. Previously confirmed as the Q1, the vehicle is now thought to be called a Q2. The name switch was confirmed to Indian Autos Blog by Audi R&D chief Ulrich Hackenberg. When asked about the upcoming Q1, Hackenberg replied, “You’re talking about the Q2.”Audi had always intended to call the vehicle a Q2 because it will be more of a compact, as opposed to a theoretical Q1 which would be more or less the size of the A1 subcompact. But since the rights to the Q2 name was owned by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles [NYSE:FCAU], which previously used it for a front axle differential in some Alfa Romeo models, Audi had to settle for Q1. It appears things have since changed.Pricing for the new 2017 Audi Q2 has been set at $39,000 – $45,000 based on current exchange rates. If there are changes on the 2017 Audi Q2 we will notify you as soon as possible, so keep follow our blog.Rumors about Audi planning to build a crossover smaller than the Q3 have been flying around for a couple of years now. But even though Audi’s intentions to further expand the Q lineup were no secret, we have yet to see a fourth member to join the 2015 Audi Q3 , 2013 Audi Q5 , and 2016 Audi Q7 until 2015. That’s about to change next year, when the smallest Audi-badged crossover will be launched at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
