Welcome to Raiacars.com, The next review about 2016 Volvo XC60 Design from Volvo cars. Let's see more specification, concept and review details for this cars below.
2016 Volvo XC60 Design, The 3 liter turbocharged unit is expected to be replaced by a more fuel efficient 2 liter turbocharged and supercharger engine that will develop up to 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. There will also be available a lesser powerful 2 liter engine that will develop 240 horsepower and around 250 lb-ft of torque along with a 2 liter diesel that is better suited for fuel economy.
The front wheel drive version of the car that is equipped with the lesser powerful engine will come as standard with a 6 speed automatic transmission. The all wheel drive versions of the car will come with the more advanced 8 speed automatic that is much smoother and is also better for fuel consumption that is good for all units. The petrol engines will return around 25 MPG in the city and around 36 while on the highway. Official numbers for the diesel engine haven’t been released yet but we can expect over 42 MPG on the highway.
This is where the biggest changes will take place. The car is aimed now at a more upmarket segment, so it will come as standard with better interior equipment and better interior materials. Standard equipment will include satellite navigation with a 7 inch screen that will control most of the car’s functions, such as the audio system and the dual zone climate control. As an optional extra there is the possibility to get a much better audio line made by Bowers&Wilkins. Other options include ventilated seats and a moon-roof for the first and second rows of seats.
Considering the 2016 Volvo XC60 is a smaller XC90 the price isn’t that bad. The base unit comes at around 30.000$ and for the price you will get most of the interior equipment you would want. The top of the range model will set you back around 45.000$ but you can get all the extras on top of that 300 horsepower engine!
