2016 Lexus TX 350, crossover, The exterior design of the Lexus TX will be based on the current RX’s design. But being a 7 seater crossover, it will be larger in dimensions and will boast a sleek and stylish body giving it a powerful look. There has been a wide speculation about the platform the TX will be built on. While, some believe it will be based on the Toyota Highlander’s / Camry’s platform (Front wheel drive) while others insist it will be built on the platform used by the Lexus IS (Rear wheel drive). Further, it is expected that the 2016 Lexus TX will be available as an all-wheel drive as well.Even though there is scarce information available about the interior of the TX, one of the aspects which the TX will dwell upon will be comfort and luxury. Being a deluxe SUV, there will be no shortage of modern gadgets, accessories and facilities in the cabin and along with the comfortable and cozy seats for seven passengers, this car will be one of the premier choices to go on a long family vacation.The full-size SUV 2016 Lexus TX will equip both gas engines and a hybrid engine. The 2016 Lexus TX base version will be powered by a 3.5 liter SOHC V6 engine which will produce a output of 270 horsepower or even more and about 247 lb-ft of torque. It will take about 8 seconds to accelerate to 60 mph with a top speed of 135 mph. Further, the engine is likely to be paired with a 6 speed automatic transmission or 8 speed automatic transmissions. The Hybrid version of the TX is likely to equip the same engine as in the RX, i.e. a 3.5 liter V6 engine combined with a set of electric motors which should produce a output of about 300 to 340 Horsepower. Apart from these two options, the TX is likely to equip another engine, but no further details are known about the engine at the moment. Also, the 2016 Lexus TX is expected to provide better fuel consumption than the RX. The RX 350 at the moment provides a fuel economy of 18/25 mpg in city and highway respectively.
