2016 Honda Pilot Relase , Size change will be most apparent in the increased cargo capacity enabling more leg room and easier access to the third-row seats. New leaner shape is built atop a new chassis and overall more refined design brings 2016 Honda Pilot more to present-day car design guidelines. Slimmer windows follow the line of the newly sculptured panels and narrowing roof. Increased in size but lighter, the new Pilot is expected to be quieter, more fuel efficient and to deliver better performance Offered in four new color options with inspiring names like Lunar Silver Metallic or Black Forest Pearl.Depending on the trim level chosen, available accessory lists includes chrome accents, LED projector headlights, 20 inch black painted alloy wheels or roof rails with crossbars.
For the 2016 Pilot model, Honda decided to replace the current powertrain option with the 3.5 liter V6 direct-injection i-VTEC engine which gives out 300 hp instead of former engine output of 250 hp. Standard transmission option coupled with this engine is a six speed automatic transmission.
List of changes doesn’t stop there and Honda has another surprise, the progressive new option which will be available in higher trim vehicles – nine speed automatic transmission. All levels of trim will remain available in both front wheel and all-wheel drive while the all-wheel drive is expected to include new terrain management system.
Revealed at Chicago Auto Show this year, the Honda Pilot 2016 is expected to be available in dealerships during this summer. Starting price range is not available at the moment, but taking into account all the work done in implementation of new design and various technology or safety features, it can be expected it will be slightly higher than the current model whose price range starts at $ 29.800 for the base model and goes up to $ 41.600 for the high trim levels.
