Welcome to Raiacars.com, The next review about 2016 Honda Pilot Price, Engine from Honda cars. Let's see more specification, concept and review details for this cars below.
Honda has not left any news slip as to the powertrain that will be driving power to the road for this year’s model, but most of the auto media seem to agree that new 2016 Honda Pilot will keep the powertrain from the prior generation which is a very capable 3.5 liter VTEC capable of producing 250 HP and 253 ft/lbs of torque. While last year’s model carries a 5 speed automatic transmission, it seems likely that the 2016 Pilot may get the same 6-speed transmission as the Honda Accord. That combination may be good for a boost to the EPA rated fuel economy of last years model at 17mpg city/23 hwy. While this may seem a little low given the current crop of automobiles with highly rated fuel economy in the 30s and 40s considering that the Pilot is capable of hauling 8 passengers with some extra payload in the back should make for a sleek and modern family car or weekend adventure car.The light truck segment saw significant growth last year rising over 10.6% in 2014 for a total of 154,480 vehicles sold. Honda was able to capture an 8.6% increase in sales for last year’s Pilot. Honda is aiming to take an even greater chunk of the market this year with the upcoming debut of the all-new 2016 Honda Pilot. With an expected starting price set to match this year’s $30,700 for the base model, Honda is well-positioned to do it.
