It is also an extender of range that is able to power the Chevy Volt once the battery is no longer able. The engine is able to able to power the vehicle either in conjunction with the electric motor or singularly. This is dependent upon the conditions. The four cylinder unit is able to run on regular unleaded fuel as opposed to the premium grade that is currently required.The new 2016 Chevy Volt will continue to offer consumers with its standard drive modes that include: Mountain, Sport and Normal along with a unique control that will permit the driver the power to decelerate. The GPS based system within the vehicle is able to save consumers on time due to its ability to initiate charging as soon as it is lugged in when away from home. For the 2016 model, the charging cord has been made slimmer and receives a better placement for stashing.
