2016 Buick Envision Release, The new Buick Envision will be developed using the “D2XX/D2UX” platform developed by Opel – a General Motor owned subsidiary based in Germany – which is known for its improved flexibility & global application; it put the model in a slot between Buick Encore & Buick Enclave. The current platform is also known for its highly efficient front wheel driving mode which comes along with an optional all wheel driving version as well. The new platform has also been optimized for high performance in compact vehicles to form a new mid sized cross over “GM Theta platform” which is expected to replace the old “Delta II platform”. 2016 Buick Envision interior has been decorated using a newly devised “360 degree design concept” which provides for the best leather upholstery, premium steering, heating & ventilation etc. The entire cabin is noise proof with an 8.0 inch LED display panel and redesigned & leather wrapped center console. 2016 Buick Envision exterior is based on that of Buick Envision Concept model which was unveiled back in 2011. Its main characteristic features include the following, the model bears an overall aggressive appearance with a highly muscular exterior. It has been fitted with the Buick trademark – wing styled Xenon head lamps and characteristic boomerang shaped LED DR Ls (Daytime Running Lights). Most of its style cues have been loosely borrowed from the concept model such as the installation of a brand new front apron set, fog light housings, round shaped rear glass, LED tail lights etc. Another striking feature offered by the model includes the company logo which is fitted appropriately at the center of the chrome plated grille.2016 Buick Envision has been provided with a 2.0 L inline 4 cylinder engine which can pump up to 256 HP at a rate of 5500 rpm in addition to a torque output of 260 lb ft. This enables the car to hit a maximum speed of 130 mph and effectively accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in a span of just 8.2 seconds. The engine works in combination with a 6 speed automatic power transmission system which greatly optimizes the power output depending on the terrain thereby regulating fuel consumption & CO2 emission levels. Next generation Buick Envision has an average fuel economy of 27 mpg.
