2015 Toyota Prius V - Toyota Cars Review
Welcome to Raiacars.com, The next review about 2015 Toyota Prius V from Toyota cars. Let's see more specification, concept and review details for this cars below.
2015 Toyota Prius V, In a peculiar fashion, Prius V is offered in three trim levels with unconventional naming design. Two, Three and Five are their names and they share the same powertrain. 1.8L 4-cylinder engine puts up 98 hp and 105 lb-ft of torque, while 80 hp permanent magnet AC synchronous motor raises the total power output to 134 horses. It still has the same old-fashioned sealed nickel-metal hydride battery pack and its power is routed to the front wheels via electronically controlled continuously variable transmission.2015 Toyota Prius V greatly resembles its role model Prius, but is slightly bigger. It is actually a wagon-like version of Prius which utilizes its surplus of space to better comfort and for cargo carrying. Swept-back headlamps and open-mouth lower air intake are still here and Prius’ profile remains unchanged as well. Its rear end is sharply cut off in a manner which is mostly seen in minivans which Prius V can certainly pass for thanks to its abundance of space.Giving the size of this vehicle, all passengers are guaranteed plenty of space. As a hybrid, Prius V doesn’t feature luxurious build and is furbished with simple materials. Top grade gets SofTex-trimmed seats and costs way too much for a vehicle without leather surfaces. All three models get the same 6.1-inch touch screen display, although Three and Five tiers benefit from navigation package that comes with it. Instrument panel is still the same wide trapezoid board and touch screen lost somewhere in the middle of it, and gauge cluster atop of it which leaves the space behind the steering wheel awkwardly blank. Besides all standard safety options, Prius’ advanced technology package adds lane-departure warning, pre-collision system and adaptive radar cruise control.
