With rear-wheel drive four – cylinder models you can choose five – speed automatic or five – speed manual transmission, while V – 6 models can choose between a five – speed automatic or six-speed manual. The 2015 Nissan Frontier with all-wheel drive is available only with the V – 6 engine with a choice between a six – speed manual or five – speed automatic.
Just like many new full-size trucks, this model also doesn’t get much better gas mileage. The numbers are: 15 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway for all-wheel drive V – 6 automatic models, and 19 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway for rear-wheel drive, four – cylinder manual models.
