2015 Isuzu MUX – Interior, Price, The design of the exterior of MU-X is inspired from D Max Ute. Its daring demeanor is evident from the wedge-like fascia coupled with wheel arches that have a flared design. The interior of MU-X is done in a bit rudimentary style. It offers seating for 7 passengers in three rows. There is ample space with abundant legroom. The seats are comfy and the huge steering wheel always catches attention. For entertainment, there is an audio system with 6 speakers, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity, touch screen satellite with navigation system. This system offers live traffic updates and above 10,000 off-road locations.
Isuzu MU-X 2015 Engine
MU-X is powered with a 3.0 liter Isuzu 4JJI-TC Hi-Power turbo diesel engine. It offers 130 kW and 380 Nm @ 1800-2800 rpm. It is mated with a 5-speed automatic transmission. 5-speed manual gearbox is also available in some models. The transmission has sequential sports mode which is governed by the transmission control module through an adaptive-learning function. This special function is capable of supervising the brake and throttle manners of the driver and accordingly, it chooses the most suitable shift points. Every all-wheel drive MU-X model is equipped with a Terrain Command 4WD select dial – 2 high, 4 high and 4 low ranges – on its console at the center. The auto versions have hill descent and ascent control. The engine is known for giving high fuel efficiency. The base trim LS-T uses 10 liter/100 km in city and 7.2 liter/100 km on motorway.
